The Border Security Force (BSF) Sunday recovered two kg of heroin and Rs.500,000 in counterfeit currency from near the international border in this Punjab town, an officer said.

'During our regular patrolling, we have recovered heroin and fake currency from near the Bishambhar BOP (border outpost). So far no arrest has been made in this case,' Pankaj, BSF's deputy inspector general (Punjab frontier), told IANS.
